Perfectly Positioned for your Andalusian adventure

Explore the Estate’s amenities

At Villa Bonica, enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and sea from the stylish pergola, or immerse yourself in the serene harmony of its mature Mediterranean gardens.

The estate offers a variety of on-site spaces to suit every mood: stay active at the pool, pétanque court, and recreation field, or retreat to more private corners – such as the fire pit, BBQ area, and gardens – for moments of peace and tranquility.

Pool area

Spanning 170 m², the pool area features a stunning 10 × 5 m pool, with half reaching an impressive depth of 2.3 m. Surrounded by over a dozen comfortable sun loungers and ample poolside seating, it offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the hillside, Fuengirola, and the Mediterranean Sea. Frequently highlighted by our guests as one of the villa’s standout features, the pool sits at the heart of the property, just below the spacious, shaded Pergola.

Fire pit area

Nestled in the southern part of the estate, the fire pit area was designed as a tranquil gathering spot, offering panoramic views and a cozy fire during the cooler months (December–February). We are currently enhancing the space with a pergola along the perimeter, transforming it into a shaded hammock retreat — creating a year-round haven where guests can relax, unwind, and connect in complete comfort.

Parking spaces

The estate offers ample, convenient parking for guests. The main northern parking area, located at the property’s entrance, spans 120 m² and comfortably accommodates 4–5 cars. A secondary southern parking space near the two rear apartments covers 20 m² and fits 2 vehicles. Additionally, the two adjacent private side alleys—also part of the estate—provide further parking options, ensuring ease and flexibility for all guests arriving by car.

Petanque court

Added in 2024, our pétanque court has quickly become a favorite activity among guests at Villa Bonica. Pétanque, a classic Mediterranean pastime with roots dating back to 425 BC in Greece and modern origins in Southern France, is known in Spain as Petanca. Our striking 11 × 4 m court is surfaced with traditional Albero gravel—the warm ochre tone used in Spanish bullrings. Last summer, we had the honor of welcoming Spain’s Petanca champion Juan Carlos Mata Galvez, a Pétanque World Championship competitor, who delighted in playing on our court.

BBQ & picnic area

Nestled between two majestic olive trees, adjacent to the pétanque court, the barbecue and picnic area offers the quintessential outdoor dining experience. The charcoal grill delivers that classic, smoky flavor, while the generous communal picnic table, shaded by a parasol, provides ample space for al fresco meals. Guests can savor delicious food, enjoy the Mediterranean ambiance, and continue friendly games of pétanque with family and friends in this charming, relaxed setting.

Reception & Guest services

Located next to the northern parking area, the reception serves as the welcoming heart of Villa Bonica. Beyond functioning as the main guest check-in and staff office, it is a dedicated space to present our curated tour options. The reception also features a mini market with an extensive pantry and fridge stocked with food and beverages, as well as secure storage for guest rental scooters. Adjacent to the reception, a guest-accessible laundry room provides the convenience of washing and drying clothes at any time.

Panoramic pergola

The Pergola is the true heart of Villa Bonica and is often described by guests as the Estate’s crowning feature. Designed by a French architect renowned for his stylish beachfront seafood restaurants (chiringuitos), it exudes an authentic Mediterranean charm with a subtle maritime flair. Spanning over 50 m², it comfortably accommodates 20+ guests with relaxing sofas, a generous dining area, high tables and chairs, while its elevated position offers sweeping panoramic views and a refreshing sea breeze.

Recreational area

Adjacent to the pool, the 180 m² recreational field (12 × 15 m) features year-round green grass and serves as a versatile outdoor space. Perfect for yoga sessions, football or volleyball, intimate weddings, private celebrations, or simply relaxing under the open skies, it offers guests the freedom to enjoy the outdoors while soaking in the serene green surroundings and the expansive views of the estate.

Spa & Wellness

(opening late 2026)

Opening late 2026, Villa Bonica’s new 100 m² Spa & Wellness retreat promises the ultimate relaxation experience. Located on the southern side of the estate and surrounded by a fully shaded, lush tropical garden, the space will feature a state-of-the-art sauna, Jacuzzi, cold plunge bath, dedicated massage and treatment area, and a serene relaxation lounge. Designed with premium, cutting-edge equipment, it will provide guests with a cool, refreshing sanctuary to unwind, recharge, and indulge in complete well-being.
