Villa Bonica’s story

“Bonica” is a regional Andalusian form of the Spanish “Bonita”. It is typically used as an affectionate compliment for something beautiful and charming, and a fitting name for our Andalusian haven!

Villa Bonica proudly sits as the largest private domain in La Sierrezuela, a hillside enclave just outside Fuengirola graced by sweeping views and refreshing sea breezes. Set on 3,000m², Villa Bonica is framed by mature gardens, with an abundance of areas to relax and unwind, providing a setting that combines modern facilities with natural beauty, inviting guests to fully immerse themselves in the villa’s tranquil charm.

We created and developed Villa Bonica to be more than just a place to stay at the Spanish Southern Coast. It is a boutique retreat where people and groups can conveniently experience the art of Mediterranean living — a balance of relaxation, culture, and connection in a large villa setting designed with elegance and comfort.

About us

The past couple of decades our lives took us across the world, working and living in South America, The Caribbean, North America, and Europe, immersing ourselves in diverse cultures, in search of an optimal quality of life. That journey ultimately led us to Spain’s southern coast in 2020, drawn not only by its fabulous weather, beautiful scenery and cultural heritage, but most importantly by its unrivaled lifestyle, and the opportunity to start Villa Bonica!

Our goal is to exceed guest expectations by providing a boutique holiday experience, filled with comfort and convenience, making you feel welcome and at ease, in a beautiful setting near all the highlights of the Andalusian Coast.

Thanks to our international lifestyle we are multilingual and are happy to converse with our guests in Spanish, English, French, Dutch and German.
